What should I bring?

Firstly, bring an OPEN MIND and be prepared to step outside your comfort zone.

You will need a mat, towel and water for class. Mat and towel hire is available if you don’t have your own. (Mats are not required for AntiGravity FUNdamentals, Aerial Yoga or Fitness). You can purchase water at reception if required.

Let us know if you have any injuries or medical conditions prior commencing class, or if your medical status has recently changed. Medical clearance may be required for some conditions.

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive 15 mins before the start of your class so you can meet your teacher and ask any questions you may have. You will also be required to complete a pre-exercise screening questionnaire prior to commencing any physical program with us. For security reasons the studio door will be locked when class starts.

What should I wear?

For our yoga classes wear comfortable clothing you can move and sweat in.

For all AntiGravity classes, to protect our hammocks, please wear a T-shirt to cover your shoulders and half-leg or long pants without buckles or zippers, and remove all jewellery before class.

I've never done AntiGravity before, what do I need to know?

You will feel light and refreshed after a Christopher Harrison AntiGravity® class. Some of the amazing benefits you’ll experience include spine and joint decompression, relaxation of tight muscles, better core strength and flexibility, improved circulation, and release of “happy hormones” such as serotonin, oxytocin and dopamine.

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of class to claim your hammock.

Please wear sleeves covering your upper arms and pants to cover your thighs.

Remove all jewellery or tape rings if necessary to protect our silky hammocks and make the class more comfortable for you.

Although fantastic for your health and fitness, there are some health consideration you should be aware of prior to undertaking an AntiGravity class.

If you have any of the following, inversions are not recommended for you:

  • Pregnancy
  • Glaucoma
  • Surgery within the last 3 months
  • Irregular heart function
  • Very high or very low blood pressure
  • Easy onset of vertigo
Please notify your teacher if you have any of the following:
  • Pregnancy

  • Recent surgery (especially eye, back, hip, knee, shoulder, hand, wrist)

How do I book online?

For all AntiGravity classes, we recommend you book online to reserve your place and avoid disappointment as spaces are limited. You can reserve your place through our live timetable.

Will there be any changes to the timetable?

While we endeavour to provide you with as much notice as possible, there may be changes to teachers, classes, times and workshops, or cancellation of classes at the last minute. The live timetable will display all up-to-date information, so be sure to check the website regularly.

What should I do if I can’t attend the class?

If you are unable to make your pre-booked class or workshop please cancel online. You have up to 2 hrs prior to a class or 12hrs prior to an event or workshop to cancel your booking. Not showing up may result in you being charged for your pre-booked class, workshop or event.

How does the Introductory Offer work?

2-Week Introductory Offer and VIP Package are one-time only passes for all new students to Beyond Fitness Australia. This pass is designed for unlimited class entry so that you can trial a range of different classes on our timetable to find the ones that suit you best. Your pass will activate on the day of your first visit.

Are passes refundable?

All passes are non-refundable and non-transferable.  There is no expiry date on our 10 Class Passes.

Do you offer concession?

Concession is available to full-time students, seniors and pensioners and only available for purchase in the studio (not online) as valid ID must be sighted.

Registered industry practitioners and professional athletes are also eligible for concession with a valid ID. Only available for purchase in the studio.

How do memberships work?

All-Inclusive Memberships give you unlimited access to Yoga, Pilates  & AntiGravity classes, a mat or complimentary mat storage and 10% discount on workshops, events and selected retail.

Most Memberships may be placed on hold for a minimum of one week with written notice given prior to the suspension date. There is no hold on Introductory Passes and 1 Month Membership.

Direct Debit Memberships  can be suspended for up to 6 weeks in every 12 month cycle. 6 Month Memberships can be suspended up to 3 weeks, and 3 or 4 Month Memberships can be put on hold up to 2 weeks.

Suspended memberships cannot be cancelled. One billing period must be completed prior to cancelling a Direct Debit Membership and one month’s notice must be given in writing prior to cancellations.

What facilities does the studio have?

The studio has change room and shower facilities for your convenience. Lockers are available for your valuables. Water, mats and towels are available for hire or purchase.

Please arrive early as the studio door will be locked at the commencement of each class for security.

Are classes heated?

All yoga classes (except Vinyasa Flow) are warmed to approximately 27ºC. We use the latest technology in Far-Infrared heating so you can enjoy the added benefits of a heat that gently warms your body and isn’t harmful to your health.

AntiGravity classes are not heated.

Is there parking at the studio?

Free 2 hour parking is available in the council car parks on Holterman St and Hume St. Metered parking is available on Alexander St, and unmetered 1 and 2 hour parking is available in adjacent streets such as Devonshire St and Atchison St. Please allow enough time to park and arrive at your class on time.
