Fiona Leard

Author, presenter, and former Registered Nurse, with a Masters Degree in Sport Science, Fiona has always had a passion for health, fitness and peak performance. She enjoys blending yoga, Pilates and AntiGravity® Fitness with the science of sport and exercise, guiding others to unlock the full potential of their mind and body, and fulfill their life’s goals.

She works on a one-to-one basis as a Personal Trainer and through group programs as a Yoga and AntiGravity® teacher with a variety of people including professional athletes, kids, busy professionals wanting to increase fitness and vitality, and those in need of injury rehabilitation. Fiona’s classes are challenging, yet fun and her personal training sessions are tailored specifically to meet your needs and goals.

After working with professional athletes looking to boost their performance since 2004, Fiona has written two books incorporating yoga and AntiGravity® programs she has used with athletes with great success. Sports teams she has worked with include Sydney FC, Cricket NSW, NSW Waratahs, NRL teams, Olympic swimmers and Australian Waterpolo teams. Her books are THE YOGA EDGE: Techniques to Maximize Your Soccer Game (with Foreword by Coach Tony Popovic) & 40 ESSENTIAL SOCCER STRETCHES: Warm-up and Cool-down with Yoga (with Foreword by Coach John Aloisi).

Fiona has lectured Certificate 3 & 4 in Fitness and Diploma of Fitness and Yoga Teacher Training programs in Australia for 10yrs. She is a certified Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga Teacher, completed Yin training with Paul and Suzee Grilley, and is an AntiGravity® Instructor Trainer currently teaching new AntiGravity® Instructors in Sydney.
