“To know thyself is a wonderful intention to practice with, non-attached to results or outcomes and an ability to drop competitive mentalities allowing the Yoga to be sustainable”
Nicole discovered Yoga as a 17 year old looking to rehabilitate her body after a serious hip injury as a gymnast. What she found was a system of movement and mental focus that would ease her into acceptance, resilience and strength for her body unmatched by any other sports or activities. Curiosity and intrigue to learn more and a passion for human biology inspired Nicole to teach others – to be able to share the healing benefits of Yoga and to witness that journey for her students is the greatest gift a teacher has to offer and receive.
Nicole teaches fluid, intelligent and strong alignment based Vinyasa that continues to ask the questions that lead us deeper into ourselves. “To know thyself” is a wonderful intention to practice with, non-attached to results or outcomes and an ability to drop competitive mentalities allowing the Yoga to be sustainable. A blend of traditional and Modern concepts are weaved through her classes alongside Pranayama and Meditation techniques.
Nicole is trained by her teacher, Annie Carpenter of Smart Flow Yoga and is also currently undergoing training with Tara Judelle and the Embodied Flow method. Other teachers that have taught and inspired her Yoga practice are Meghan Currie, Patrick Beach, Maty Ezraty and Tiffany Cruikshank. With an education background in Chiropractic Science and experience with Health and Fitness coaching Nicole hopes to build respectful and positive relationships with her students that continues to evolve and change with the seasons of life.
